Ocean transportation, also known as (international ocean cargo transportation), is the most important mode of transportation in international logistics. It refers to a way of using ships to transport goods between ports in different countries and regions through sea lanes, and is the most widely used in international cargo transportation. At present, more than two-thirds of the total international trade volume and about 90% of China's total import and export cargo are transported by sea. The changes ocean shipping has made to the world are enormous. There are two main types of maritime transportation: liner transportation and charter transportation. Liner shipping is also known as regular shipping, and charter shipping is also known as non-scheduled shipping.
